Step Inside

The Garden Room is where learning takes root, ideas are sown, and friendships flourish. Tucked within the walls of Bothy Gardens, this is our place for workshops, gatherings, and growing together.

From seed-saving and propagation to slow dyeing and seasonal wreaths, our hands-on sessions are led by artists, gardeners, and makers who share a love for the land.

This is also the home of our Friends of the Bothy, a circle of people who support and shape what we’re building here.

A growing group of volunteers, supporters, and neighbours who help the garden grow.

Friends of the Bothy

Volunteer Days
Join our regular garden days and enjoy a garden lunch. Those who volunteer over 16 hours receive a Friends t-shirt as a thank you.

Supporter Memberships
Become a named Friend of the Bothy, with invites to special events, a t-shirt, and your name hand-painted on the garden welcome board.

Our Library & Learning Space

Inside the restored glasshouse corner sits our new library and learning space — a place for up to 30 guests, filled with books, tools, and stories. Inspired by John Claudius Loudon’s call for every estate to hold 100 books for the gardener, we’re slowly building a living library for learning and legacy.
